Mom?…what can we do off the ship?
In yesterday’s entry, a guest shared why she felt cruising makes the perfect family vacation. I wanted to add to that there are some exciting adventures available, once you get to a port of call. Cruise lines offer a variety of shore excursions – planned, guided tours and activities – to help guests make the most of their time on shore. Some excursions – such as wine tastings, gourmet cooking classes or arduous climbs – are suitable only for adults. But, plenty are family-friendly, perfect for kids and parents to share.
Cruising: The Perfect Family Vacation
A good friend wanted to share her thoughts why cruising is the perfect family vacation. I bring you a guest blogger for this entry:
Our family loves cruises. We have been on many cruises– from Carnival to Disney! Finding a vacation that provides entertainment for all ages, private accommodations (if you’ve ever shared a condo with the in-laws, you know what I am talking about), and a variety of scenic venues is nearly impossible. Cruises also provide a plethora of inclusive dining choices not to mention, an attentive staff to take care of you. I still miss Gavin (our last room steward) from time to time.
