Day 5 of a meeting at Sea
Our meeting at sea has come to an end. The franchise owners of Cruise Holidays have spent the past five days hearing about new programs being offered by our headquarters. These are tools that will increase our value to our clients as the services we will be able to offer have increased by a factor of ten or probably more.
We had 45 minute sessions this morning covering everything from website customization and SEO optimization to a review of the new features announced earlier this week. The day ended with a 90 minute question and answer session with the president of our company and vice president of our division.
Day 4 of a meeting at sea
Hello and welcome to our penultimate day of our meeting at sea. The day’s events included a presentation from one of the divisions under our corporate parent that does a great deal of business in the luxury cruise market. He shared what he had learned about serving this market with an interesting presentation.
Next up was a presentation from one of our suppliers that really brought their product to my forefront. It is now something I want to learn more about in an effort to serve a larger audience. I can personally think of several clients who might be ready to give this supplier another look.
Day 3 of a meeting at Sea
Today was a day at sea and the third day of our cruise and it was filled with a series of roundtables with various vendors and our headquarters team. (Think speed dating as we sat at a table and the vendors would come to us and talk about their products and take questions for 15 minutes.) After for of these sessions, we went to a trade show featuring the vendors at the roundtables plus a variety of other vendors.
Day 1 of a meeting at sea
Day 1 of our convention is coming to a close. It has been a whirlwind day of networking, making new friends and reconnecting with old ones. Just walking through the ship throughout the day, you find yourself running into some of the same people again and again. It could be sitting at a blackjack table, sucking down a favorite beverage in the Schooner Bar or even taking a quick snooze in the cover Solarium.
