Imagine coming home from your dream vacation to find that your water heater decided to fail. You pull up in the middle of the night after a long day of travel home and all you want is a shower to wash off the airplane funk. Or maybe you are traveling in the winter time and the weather turned really cold and your pipes have frozen in the walls.

Before a recent cruise, one of my clients asked me “What if there is an emergency back home?” This client went on to ask how back home could get in touch with her or how she could get in touch with them. It is a question that seldom comes up, but the answer is good to know if even for a bit of nickel knowledge.
