Our home for the next week onboard Norwegian Star

Our Home for the next week onboard Norwegian Star

Mom sent a quick update and a few pictures of their first day onboard. As of this writing, there has been no mention of the earthquake that hit Baja California. Thank you again for virtually cruising with us. If you have any questions for them, be sure to leave a comment!

Our daughter says the Easter Bunny brought her lots of money and a bathing suit cover up and a journal.  There are a few other things including a little candy which she doesn’t like much.  I am going to let her draw on the computer while I shower. We have decided to dress up tonight.

Mommy and daughter cruise day 1

Now that I sit down to write I wish I had taken notes along the way.  There is so much to touch on that I am sure that I will forget something.

Norwegian Star Mexican Riviera Cruise

Norwegian Star Mexican Riviera Cruise

Laura and my daughter made it safely to Los Angeles last night. The mommy and daughter cruise begins today. They are staying at the DoubleTree hotel in San Pedro. After arriving at LAX, they took the First Time Shuttle to the hotel. The cost was $17 per person. The DoubleTree has a free shuttle to the pier at San Pedro. She told me she will make arrangements for her return shuttle before she boards the ship.

Mom needs a break too

without comments

Laura had been watching our daughter and I get away twice this school year. She used the time to herself, yet she was still working and working hard.  She holds a full time job as a structural engineer in addition to being mom to “The Chad” and co-owner of The Flagg Agency. With spring break coming up for our daughter, I came to the realization that mom needs a break too. I know most of you reading know this, I am just a little slow on the uptake. Mom though is one to think of others first in her life. Whether it is for her family or her work, she gives and gives of herself selflessly.
