Take a cruise ship excursion or go on your own
Something we have stressed when we began writing this blog is that we want to find a cruise experience that is right for our client. It is not just cruises we sell. In fact we believe that your cruise is merely the starting point for your entire vacation experience. Now that you have booked your cruise, your next decision you will want to think about is should you take a cruise ship excursion or go on your own.
The hummingbird dogfights
We now have four hummingbirds in residence. Three females and one male. They are ruby-throats.
It was an exciting dance of rivalry and fighting amongst two of the females around 1:30 this afternoon. Two would go at it never letting the other one near the feeder. When they flew out of the window view, you could catch their shadow on the patio and grass.
The third female would come from one of the trees and swoop in to get a drink only to have the other two get p*ssed and stop fighting only long enough to fight her back away.
Good citizens at work and play

Every trip includes pictures etched across the mind. Memories that may or may not fade after time. This one remains pretty strongly chiseled, and I hope it will stay with me until the end.
We were sailing on Royal Caribbean’s newest ship Freedom of the Seas. It was a western Caribbean itinerary which was to include stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Montego Bay, Jamaica as well as Royal Caribbean’s private island stop of Labadee, Haiti.
The weather cut short our port time in Cozumel and canceled our stop at Grand Cayman. We enjoyed the warm beaches of Labadee and my daughter loved playing at the water park as a fun loving three and a half year old.
