Barcelo Los Cabos Specialty Restaurant Menus

During our stay at Barcelo Los Cabos, my wife daughter and I ate at four of the five specialty restaurants. The first night we ate at the French Restaurant, Bon Vivant. The second night we ate at Capri, the Italian restaurant. On the third night we dined at the Japanese restaurant, Lotus. For our fourth and final night, we ate at the open air steakhouse, La Hacienda. We did not eat at El Cortigo, the Spanish restaurant. There was also a seafood restaurant on the property that was open air, but we didn’t eat there either. I did manage to get pictures of the five of the menus from the specialty restaurants.

You remember the experience far longer than the thing

Have you ever noticed how you remember the experience for longer than the thing?I am talking about stuff, some material thing that you just had to have. Memories are intangible but they leave such a lasting impression on our souls.

Recently I asked a group if they could remember how many cameras they owned since 1996. Quite a few started off by saying “I think…” When I asked if they could remember a trip they had taken in the last fifteen years. Everyone could and when a few were asked to share their stories, there was a nary a “I think…” uttered from any of them.

Review: Pisces Sportfishing – Cabo San Lucas

without comments

One of the things that had always been on my bucket list was to go deep sea fishing. My wife loved to fish and my daughter had just been exposed to lake fishing two weeks before our trip at summer camp. She really enjoyed it. We were headed to the sport fishing capital of North America off the coast of the Baja Peninsula.

After doing some research, I booked an all day charter with Pisces Sportfishing. I emailed asking which of the available boats would be better with an 8 year old. Though I was recommended one in particular, I was also told that the one we were choosing would push her a little more and teach her. And teach us they did.

From July 23rd until July 27th, my wife, daughter and I stayed at an all-inclusive resort at the tip of the Baja Peninsula and what follows is our review of Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe. The Los Cabos area covers a strip of land between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. Barcelo Los Cabos Palace Deluxe is located in the San Jose Del Cabo region about 20-30 minutes from the main airport and about 20-25 minutes from the Marina and cruise ship tender port. The airport is a non-stop flight from many major gateways in the U.S.

Happy Monday morning to you! We are now back on the grid and totally refreshed. If you read our last entry, we asked, “When did you last drop off the grid?” I know I again am breaking the rule against talking about me and my life on this blog when I should be writing about things that are important to you. However, I do hope you will indulge me.
