You never notice the most important crew members

with one comment

I bet most of my readers never notice the most important crew members when they take a cruise. Do you think it is the captain, your cabin steward, your waitstaff or your bartender? Maybe you feel it is the cruise director.

Sand Collection

As I was avoiding football today, I started wondering what travel traditions do you have?

I have traveled with someone who collected sand from every beach she visited. Another insists on getting a massage during every trip. We like to indulge in Chinese food everywhere we go. How about you? Share your travel traditions in our comment section.

Cruise ship repositioning season is at hand

without comments

I have talked a bit about this secret value in the cruise world before but as cruise ship repositioning season is at hand; I figured it couldn’t hurt to share some thoughts with you again. This may be obvious, but cruise ships are mobile. It is one of the many differences they have versus a land based resorts. However, just as each region on earth has a season, there is also a cruise ship season. You cannot go skiing in Colorado in the middle of the summer, and you cannot take an Alaska cruise in the dead of winter.
