You cannot travel to a picture

Chuck and our daughter at Hubbard Glacier
This morning I was looking back at pictures from our first cruise. We went to Alaska in 2004. My daughter was just 15 months old. Now she is eight and quite the cruise veteran. I still have the pictures from the cruise. So many of them look like others I have seen on the internet. There are the same shots of Hubbard Glacier.
The difference between vacation deals and values
I often ask my clients – Do you walk into your favorite restaurant and tell the waiter “Just bring me the cheapest thing on the menu, it doesn’t really matter what it is, price is most important”? Of course not! Here is a great explanation of the differences between getting a “good deal” and getting a “good value” for your vacation time and money investment. New cruise ships coming in 2012
Did you know cruise ships are still being built…even in this economy? Building a cruise ship takes about 18 months from the time the keel is first laid to their maiden voyage. As we are coming to the end of the year, I thought you might like to know about new cruise ships coming in 2012. This list does not represent the most comprehensive list of new builds as some new ships are from lines not familiar to most of my readers.
Are you an oh well or a what if
I came across this photo in my Facebook stream the other day. It has been posted by a friend of mine who had shared it from a page known as “Always Grow Personally.” It begs the question of “Are you an ‘Oh well’ or a ‘What if’ type of person?” My apologies in advance if what I am about to write offends you. I can never know if this subject has touched you recently. We all deal with what comes next in different ways.
