“Chuck, can a cruise be a all-inclusive vacation?” a prospective client asked me the other day. I replied that it could, but honestly it depended on what she considered as being all-inclusive. For most clients, they will find that a cruise is not an all-inclusive vacation. They choose to drink those beverages beyond coffee, water, tea, juice and milk. They like to enjoy a few relaxing hours in the spa. They choose to take one of the ship’s excursions when in port. They also have gratuities to consider which add about $12 per person per day to the final bill (unless pre-paid in advance.)

I am going to type something very radical in this space. More than like it will go against your current belief of what you expect a travel agent to tell you. Ready? You will not save the most money using my services to book your next cruise or dream vacation. Most often I am not going to find you the cheapest price, the best deal or the lowest cost for your vacation.

Over the past few years we have been sharing the benefits and our personal joy of a cruise vacation. However, did you know we recommend land vacations too?

We know that not everyone we come into contact wants to cruise all the time. We even have some clients who are not ready to take a cruise yet but do enjoy a vacation at an all-inclusive resort. We even have a few clients who will cruise one time and then stay at a resort the next time.
