Long after the travel bills are paid you are left with the memories of an incredible vacation. I asked Laura if she thought I should share the cost of the incredible journey and opportunity we had just experienced. She said it is very rude to talk about money, but she did it agree it would help people with their planning.

I have a new girlfriend and her name is Diane…as in Steak Diane. On our cruise on Celebrity Millennium, we ate at the Olympic specialty restaurant for a date night.

Our first experience with specialty dining onboard a ship was on our first cruise on Celebrity Infinity when we did a seven night cruise to Alaska from Vancouver.

I am addicted to Deadliest Catch

Hi my name is chuck and I am addicted to Deadliest Catch.

Hi Chuck!

On Wednesday, we were docked in Ketchikan, AK and we had the chance to go out on the Aleutian Ballad which was featured in season 2 of Deadliest Catch. If you are a fan or have ever watched, this was the boat that was hit by a rogue wave during the season. They were lucky to be alive and with very few injuries.

I could see stars again

without comments

For the first time since this cruisetour began, last night I could see stars again. We are heading further south and as such the sun is setting earlier and it is getting dark.  Dark of course instead of dusk or twilight we have been experiencing since Sunday over a week ago in Fairbanks.
