In a post I made last Friday, I answered the most common question I receive as cruise consultant: “Can I get a free cruise?” Today I want to give you a warning about a postcard or phone call you may receive saying you won a free cruise.

“What’s the best cruise?” the woman asked me today when she saw my name tag and had asked what I did for a living.

As I always do I responded with “That depends entirely on you.” I continued with “What is best for me is far different than what is best for you or even the person sitting next to you at this table.”

“Couldn’t you just simplify that answer,” was her response.

To simplify my response, I actually have to give a longer answer. I have tried to not make it too long though and have it down to my top ten tips for finding the best cruise…for you.

People tell me that no one cares about us and that they only care about themselves. They also say that people don’t care how much we know, until they know how much we care. So why am I writing twenty undeniable facts about us when we already have an About us page? Well people like lists and this is for those who will never click that About Us link. If you want to know more, please do. I will wait.

I will be frank with you, I love the internet. I use it every day, several hours a day. I research vacation experiences for my clients. I participate in online webinars. I take online continuing education courses offered by suppliers and destinations. I live breathe and sleep cruising.
