Thanks for visiting our blog. I know this is an about “us” page, but for the most part I am the one who does the writing. I am Chuck Flagg, my wife is Laura and we call our daughter “The Chad” as a means of online privacy. It probably doesn’t make sense that we put up pictures of her all the time and don’t use her real name. Just a decision I made before she was born.

For the first five years of our daughter’s life, I was a stay-at-home-dad. My wife is a civil, structural engineer working for a large international engineering and construction firm. Between 2000 and 2006, we moved seven times. During that time, our daughter was born and yet we continued to move. Her first four Christmas mornings were at four different houses.

When she was 15 months old, we took our first cruise for our 10th anniversary to Alaska. We were hooked. We loved cruising so much that we did it again and again each year and even twice in 2007. I talked about it so much that my neighbor said, ‘Chuck you need to find a business where you can sell cruises.” So as my daughter was about to enter kindergarten, Laura and I did just that. I have attended intensive training through Cruise Holidays as well as by many suppliers. We continue to cruise on the newest ships to some of the world’s most exciting destinations. I have been quoted in both trade and consumer publications including USA Today Online.

We bought a Cruise Holidays franchise that allows us to have a virtual office. What this means is that I may physically operate out of my home, but I meet client’s locally in their home, office or local coffee shops. I have hours on Saturday and Sunday and typically and working on a request late into the need. Because of technology, I can run my business from just about anywhere in the world where there is an internet connection. We do have a website, but most of our business is done face to face or through emails and phone conversations.

Think of all of the photos you have in your albums. Do they show you or your family going to work, at a desk, in a cube? We bet most of them Our goal is to make sure our clients get the most value for their vacation dollar.
