You cannot travel to a picture

Chuck and our daughter at Hubbard Glacier
This morning I was looking back at pictures from our first cruise. We went to Alaska in 2004. My daughter was just 15 months old. Now she is eight and quite the cruise veteran. I still have the pictures from the cruise. So many of them look like others I have seen on the internet. There are the same shots of Hubbard Glacier.
It is like looking at a shot of Machu Picchu. Nearly every one has taken the same photo from that one vantage point. The same goes for the Taj Mahal in India or Niagara Falls. Pictures hold wonderful members. However, you cannot travel to a picture. There is nothing like being there. By the way, since taking that picture in 2004, I seem to have a little less hair and a lot more grey. I wonder why!
