Should you plan a vacation on price alone

The cheapest thing on the menu

The cheapest thing on the menu

You want to find a cruise at a cheap price so you decided to call a travel professional. However, should you plan a vacation on price alone? Pricing is important, but you should never let it drive your planning process. Have you ever walked into a restaurant and declined seeing a menu and said “Just bring me the cheapest dish on the menu?”

Could you imagine doing that? How would you experience be if they bring you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? How would it be if one of your children is allergic to peanut butter? If price was the only driving force in your car buying decision, you would probably be ordering a TATA automobile! Cheap isn’t always enjoyable, and, as I have asked before, how cheap does a BAD vacation have to be to make it okay for you and your family?

A professional travel consultant can help you get value for your money. I would love to hear from you soon if you want to make sure your hard earned dollars are not wasted. You will never remember how much you paid when memories are made!

Chuck and Laura Flagg are fee-based travel consultants.
