What does a pen have to do with travel? Why on earth would I take up a post on my blog and your time to write about a pen? First off I think a quality pen allows you to write a wonderful journal when you travel!

I wanted to post a review of our cruise today, however fate intervened. I was making bacon and hash browns for my daughter and I as it was the only thing in the house. I missed the phone ringing as the television was up loud. My cell phone rang and it was a colleague. While we were talking, my wife buzzed in, but I missed her call. She called on the home phone and my daughter answered.

Earlier in the week, I dropped a note with the guest services desk as I wanted to interview Carnival cruise director Butch Begovich. Due to his busy schedule, he left a message yesterday. Unfortunately, technology did not allow me to get the message until this morning. I dropped by guest services and had him called. He was in a meeting, but we arranged to meet during the Fun Farewell party at 5pm.
