Booked your cruise with someone else? We can still help you!
Sometimes we get an email or a phone call from someone who has booked their cruise with someone else and now has more questions. When they are calling us, they are not getting the answers they need from the place they booked. When it comes to the cruise portion of their trip, we honestly have to refer all questions back to agent with whom they originally booked. We cannot make changes to a reservation either booked direct with the cruise line or with another agency. (By the way, Travelocity, Expedia, etc. are all travel agencies.)
However even if you booked your cruise with someone else, we can still help you. Did you remember to get travel insurance? We can help you with that. I don’t know if you have been watching the news, but there is now Hurricane Irene in the Atlantic that looks to completely go over the islands of the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. It is too late to insure against a hurricane that has developed, but not for your future cruises in hurricane season.
Because of this storm, several ships had to depart the port of Puerto Rico much earlier than planned. Quite a few passengers were left behind. The cruise lines state they are doing all the can to get their passengers to the next port of call. Did you know if you had travel insurance, one phone call to a 24/7 staffed Live Assist desk could get you rescheduled in many cases much faster than a cruise line will.
