Take kids out of school for a cruise?
Welcome to the busy summer travel season. If you are a parent, you are well aware that as demand increases, the price of a cruise vacation goes up. Couple that with limited capacity in the Caribbean and you may be asking yourself if you should take kids of out school for a cruise. Without debating the decision that is right for your family, I reached out to a client who happens to be a teacher for the New York City Public school system. I asked for her take on how taking kids out of school for a cruise or any vacation really affects her as a teacher. You may not agree with her take, but she gives you several valid points to consider as you make your decision.
