My dad was a World War II veteran. It is on this day, that I wanted to share with you some very personal notes of his about the war I found after his passing. They are raw and they are not always safe for work, but they are a reminder of a time far removed from most of our frame of reference. They serve for me as a constant reminder of the sacrifices that he and his generation made for us.
