Believe it or not, but the dead of winter is the time to think about cruising Alaska. Last summer, our family spent 12 nights on a Celebrity CruiseTour. We actually had booked it almost 15 months before we went. The cruising season in Alaska is limited to the months of May until September. The best staterooms with the best views are filling up fast.

I wrote once before that you really cannot get Alaska until you smell it. You won’t know what it is like to have the sun shining at 11pm until you visit it. When you are ready to make your plans, we would love to talk to you. Do not let 2011 be the year you say “What if?” and leave it at that. Use this time to think about cruising Alaska.
