A personal and professional look ahead to 2011
Have you been to Google today? I love how creative they are with their logos. They are using the Roman numerals for 2011. We wanted to take a personal and professional look ahead to 2011. We also want to thank you our readers who come visit us again and again.
Travels with The Flagg Agency in 2010
There is a law that says if you write a blog, you must do a retrospective blog post on events of the past year as it applies to your blog. Since I have never been a scofflaw, what follows is a look back at travels with The Flagg Agency in 2010.
Our travels began in February with our first Dad and Daughter cruise of the year on Crown Princess. The cruise was a Saturday to Saturday cruise. Failing to follow the advice I give every client, I made arrangements to fly in the day of the cruise during the middle of winter. As luck would have it, a winter ice storm paralyzed Atlanta and at 11:45 the night before we received information that our flight was canceled. We began what amounted to a 14 hour car journey to Fort Lauderdale.
What will you remember from 2010
So what will you remember from 2010? I am not talking about the biggest stories from the news, unless one of them affected you personally. I am talking about those memories that stay etched in our mind’s eye long after we have experienced them.
Merry Christmas 2010
Merry Christmas from our family to yours. Have a safe a wonderful weekend!
Prepare your home for your vacation
Imagine coming home from your dream vacation to find that your water heater decided to fail. You pull up in the middle of the night after a long day of travel home and all you want is a shower to wash off the airplane funk. Or maybe you are traveling in the winter time and the weather turned really cold and your pipes have frozen in the walls.
Not only could both of these scenarios involve a lot of costly water damage, but when the water continuously flows after the break or burst you will end up with an expensive water bill.
