When you visit a new port, do you like to spend time sight-seeing in town or do you like to do it in the mountains? Did you know that many first-time cruisers are surprised to find that their options for shore excursions extend far beyond sightseeing tours of the port cities. While excursions that feature bus tours, museums and shopping are delightful, many ports of call offer more active pursuits, too.
