Any travel agent will tell you that they are different, but most of the time you will find they are all the same as a bag of butterscotch candies. Truth be told, we are all selling the same products to the same destinations from all of the same suppliers.

Online agencies can entice you with offers of pre-paid gratuities, shipboard credits, or bottles of wine. Many of these offers are great for the DIY’er who needs no hand-holding; knows exactly what he or she wants; and is adept at navigating all of the rules and regulations traveling by ship.

However the vast majority of my clients come to me because they are desperately seeking advice and want personal service and attention. I can give them that because I am not trying to move truckloads of product like my major online competitors. I like to think of our agency as moving cases of fine wine, one bottle at a time. Our advice just starts with putting you on the right ship for the right amount of time going to the right destination just for you.

Once the cruise is on deposit, we start recommending shore excursions, restaurants, experiences just for you and your family. Should a problem arise, we are available to you via phone call or email. Technology has allowed us to have a virtual office environment which can serve our clients from no matter where in the world we are located.

Because we are not dealing in high volume, selling as fast as we can, we are unable to compete with some of the major offers our competitors are advertising. If price and extra offers are a client’s only concern, we tell them we are probably not the best fit. However, we feel our clients deserve a little extra for their trust in us.
