I could see stars again
For the first time since this cruisetour began, last night I could see stars again. We are heading further south and as such the sun is setting earlier and it is getting dark. Dark of course instead of dusk or twilight we have been experiencing since Sunday over a week ago in Fairbanks.
This is bittersweet for us as we know this means the cruise will be over soon. I am about ready to sleep in my bed again, but I am having the time of my life. I am with the favorite two women in my life. I am in one of the most beautiful parts of the country if not the world. Every few minutes yesterday afternoon as we sailed away from Icy Strait Point brought about a new postcard view. When you come, you should be carrying a camera with you at all times.
Soon we will begin the slow packing process for the long journey home. However that is still to come. Believe me I love being here, but I am sure you know the pleasure of coming back home.
However, I wanted to share something I had taken for granted when I could see stars again. Look for more to come as you cruise virtually with us in Alaska!
