Our Alaska Adventure is at the halfway point
Our Alaska Adventure is at the halfway point. Though not focused on the end of our vacation, there is a nagging little buzzing in my mind. We are skimming along the terminator that divides the beginning and end part of our Alaska adventure. The real downer comes on Thursday when the packing begins.

Does anyone take family to Alaska? It is a common question I and others get. In everyone’s pictures, you see lots and lots of scenery, but rarely to you see anyone else in the picture.
Good afternoon from Juneau, AK. We are in the state capital on a Sunday. We are in port for thirteen hours today and I wanted to just get out a short note to you. We left Seward just before 9pm on Friday. We sailed almost due East to take us to Hubbard Glacier yesterday. The calving of ice chunks into the water was very spectacular. The captain of the ship was able to get us within a mile and it is a sight to see.
