Touring NCL Epic requires comfortable footwear
Our first day is coming to a close on Norwegian Epic. Touring NCL Epic requires comfortable footwear! We have toured a variety of staterooms, had a shot of vodka in the Ice Bar, watched the sketch comedy/improv group Second City, and saw a 90 minute performance by Blue Man Group. There are also around 100 children on board this two day sailing. The staff in the children’s club area (known as Recess) told me there will be close to 1000 on the first revenue sailing starting on July 10th!
Anticipating Norwegian Epic
I am writing this on our flight down to FL for our two day cruise to nowhere aboard the brand new Norwegian Epic. On June 18, 2010, NCL took from STX FRANCE SA. located in St. Nazaire, France. Norwegian Epic tips the scale at 153,000 gross tons.
This will be my first ever experience with Freestyle Cruising. Laura and my daughter took a cruise this past April on Norwegian Star in the Mexican Riviera from Los Angeles. I am very excited to experience a new ship, but a new (to me) style of cruising. Norwegian Cruise Lines has been innovative in the cruise industry and many other lines have elements of the cruise experience first pioneered by NCL.
