Today I wanted to write a very personal blog entry, and I hope you will indulge me. My late father was a garden expert and besides his time working in advertising, he used to write a weekly gardening column and host a weekly radio program devoted to all things gardening. He, like his mother before him, also used to lead groups to various parts of the world. In his later years, he lead tours to Holland when the tulips were in bloom. It was paradise for any garden lover, master gardener and photography buff. In the last few weeks of his life, I asked him where he wished he could visit one more time before embarking on his next journey. Without missing a beat, he responded Holland.

I thought of him when I started working with AMAWaterways to put together a group river cruise to Holland and Belgium for next April 2011. Our group will be sailing during Easter week for seven nights on the beautiful M/S AMADOLCE. Laura and I have put together a flyer for this cruise which may be found at this PDF LINK. I am looking forward to honoring the memory of my father by taking my daughter on this cruise, and we hope you will join us.
