Laura and my daughter made it safely to Los Angeles last night. The mommy and daughter cruise begins today. They are staying at the DoubleTree hotel in San Pedro. After arriving at LAX, they took the First Time Shuttle to the hotel. The cost was $17 per person. The DoubleTree has a free shuttle to the pier at San Pedro. She told me she will make arrangements for her return shuttle before she boards the ship.
This will be her first experience on NCL and Freestyle Cruising. Not only has she been excited for a vacation, she is eager to cruise on a recently refurbished ship. Norwegian Star recently underwent an extended dry dock after a charter was canceled.
