You probably think I am crazy to be in the business of selling cruises to title a blog entry, “Nobody needs a cruise”. However, I am a realist and know that title and statement are completely true. However, I do happen to believe in a few other fundamental truths as well:

Every body needs to relax

Every body needs to relax

I believe that every body needs time to relax, heal and rest. On a cruise, you can be as active as you wish, or you can take time to curl up with a good book. You don’t have to be sitting in traffic, rushing home in time to make dinner. You can dress up if you wish or go casual if that is your desire. Someone else is doing the cooking for you on a cruise and someone else will bring that delicious food to you and even clear your plate when you are finished! When you return to your stateroom, someone else has turned down your bed having made it up for you after you left in the morning for breakfast.

A family reconnects in Alaska

Taking the time to reconnect and stay warm in Alaska

I believe that every family needs to take time to reconnect. We all have our electronic devices that demand our attention. Work comes home with us and stays with us except in those fleeting hours we are sleeping. Sometimes work even enters our dreams the same way school would on summer vacation! I believe a cruise, with all of the family activities you can do, affords your family time to reconnect. When is the last time everyone in your family sat at a dinner table and just talked? A cruise allows you to have experiences as a family completely unique to other types of vacations. The earth is 70% covered by water and I promise there is a cruise to take you to many of those destinations you have only dreamed about. A cruise can allow you to experience whale watching in Alaska or ziplining in Roatan, though the longest zipline in North America is also located in Alaska. Traveling with a family is never about the destination, it truly is about the journey.

Reflecting on life while watching the waves

I also believe that every soul on the planet needs to take time to reflect on what is truly important in their life. We all lead busy lives. Our attention is called in a variety of directions by email at our fingertips, instant messages, texts, ads on the gas pump, fliers coming home in your daughter’s school folder, and many many more. I feel a cruise will allow your soul the time to reflect.

Please remember that nobody needs a cruise, but every body needs time to relax, every family needs time to reconnect, and every soul needs time to reflect. You may find that just about any vacation will meet those needs, but we know you won’t find a better value for your vacation dollar than on a cruise vacation. When you realize that a cruise will satisfy your needs, would you consider contacting us and let us help you meet both your needs and your desires?
