Thanks for visiting us again! Let us know what topics you would like to learn more about. We are here to serve you. Happy Sailing!

We just wanted to pass on some of the latest info about ground transportation in Chile in light of the earthquake. We know at this time of the year Chile is a popular cruising beginning and ending point for cruises around the horn of South America. At Cruise Holidays, our international Concierge Desk has many contacts in Chile. Their sources have advised that the area around Santiago is experiencing fuel shortages, thus affecting the availability and price of taxis. Travelers may find themselves in Santiago at the airport or Valparaiso at the pier without ground transportation.

If you or someone you know are sailing into or out of Chile in the next week or two, you may want to advise them to book their transfers with the cruise line. In this way, the cruise lines will have some responsibility in getting your clients to or from the ship. If transfers are not available through the cruise line, we can contact our international Concierge Desk for help in securing ground transportation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Chile at this time. We at The Flagg Agency will monitor the situation and relay important information as needed.
