Valentines Day onboard Crown Princess

without comments

It’s Valentine’s Day onboard Crown Princess. This morning I watched over 300 couples renew their wedding vows presided over by Captain Andrew (Andy) Proctor. I ran into Trista and Ryan Sutter from The Bachelorette on my way from lunch to drop the Chad back off at the kid’s club. She is in the 3-7 range known as “Pelicans”. She loved the Turtle she received named ‘Timmy’. She asked if we could go see the Turtles while on Grand Cayman.

I also attended a talk by the Captain’s Circle Hostess, Amanda, for those new to the Captain’s Circle. With Full Disclosure, I am cruising with Elite benefits having completed a very extensive training program offered by Princess Cruises. However as this is my first Princess Cruise, I want to learn through actual experience for my clients. Princess Cruises does offer one of the most generous loyalty programs of all cruise lines.

Part of the day was spent enjoying the pool where the outside temperature was around 77 degrees. Very pleasurable time was had by all. We also spent time going through the art gallery and The Chad reminded me to “SLOW DOWN” as there were so many pretty things to see. Nice when a six year old brings you down to her perspective.

I went to a Q&A answer session with Ryan and Trista attended by 50-60 people. I am honestly not a fan of the Bachelor nor the Bacherlorette, but it was nice to see such down to earth people. They have their two children onboard, but the grandparents are helping a great deal. When I ran into them, I did point out the Chad and show them how nice cruising can be with children once they are old enough for the kid’s program.

I just spent time in the wine tasting session. I am not sure if it was because of Valentine’s Day or not, but the entire event was very well attended. For now, I am about to get ready to formal night. I hope you enjoy some of the photos from Valetines Day onboard Crown Princess  today!
