What would we do on a dad and daughter cruise

Formal Night on Freedom of the Seas

The Chad and I pose for formal night

The man had a panicked look on his face. He said, “What would we do on a dad and daughter cruise?” I had just shared my idea to promote the idea of The Ultimate Dad and Daughter Dance with him and he hit me with that question. Want to know how I really took that? “What would I do on a daughter cruise? How on earth would I keep my daughter entertained…alone…for up to a week?”

Last day of the Dad and Daughter Cruise

The Chad and I spend a day at Princess Cays

Today is the last day of the Dad and Daughter Cruise and we spent it at Princess Cays. What started out as a chilly day, it became quite beautiful. We are going to go around Crown Princess today and are planning on picking up some photos we had taken of us.

I want to thank you for virtually cruising along with us and please continue to follow our blog. I hope when you are ready to book a dad and daughter cruise or maybe a mom and daughter cruise you would think of us! Stay tuned as we will be giving out details of our post cruise conference call where we will be taking your questions about cruising and about our Crown Princess experience.

A Casual Conversation with the Crown Princess Cruise Director

without comments

Today I have managed to have a casual conversation with the Crown Princess Cruise director. For many of us, our first exposure to a Cruise Director was Julie on The Love Boat.

This morning I was doing my photo tour and I ran into Lisa Ball, cruise director onboard Crown Princess. She is a female CD in a male dominated industry and she is very proud of that fact. She has worked hard rising through the ranks of Deputy CD, to Acting CD to now a full fledged CD. She is on contract until March before she goes on holiday and will return to Ruby Princess.
