It all started in May 2008.  I had been looking for a way to serve my community. I had been a volunteer firefighter in Cypress, Texas before beginning our journey from coast to coast that had us moving six times between 2000 and 2006. I honestly missed giving to my community. For over two years, I had been driving my daughter to her gymnastics class going right past the Cherokee County Senior Services facility. On the bottom of that sign, there is a smaller sign that reads “Meals on Wheels – Volunteers NEEDED” and a phone number.

We want to serve you better and quite frankly the best way for us to do so is to ask you are clients, readers and friends. If you have two minutes, we ask that you take part in our survey.
