Navigating the cruise line WAVE season
Welcome to the 2010 Cruise Line Wave Season everyone! Appearing in your email box or on a website soon, you will see something that looks like the above from a variety of suppliers, travel agents and more. If you type “cruise sale” into Google you get about 43,000,000 (forty-three million) results. Since looking for a cruise vacation is probably not something you do every day, how are you going to know what is really on sale and what is not? If you are a serious shopper, you know that many times prices will rise before an item is put on “sale.” Or maybe the items on sale are not something you really want anyway. Why not let a professional cruise consultant guide you through what is fact and what is fiction when it comes to what is really a “special”, a “deal” or something of real value to you and your family.
What is about to occur as early as next week, is the yearly big promotional push by all of the cruise lines to fill their ships. Most of the selling and filling of ships historically has been accomplished in the first quarter of a year. Of course, we know that we are living in a time where history is not of much use as far as predictions go. However, the fact remains is that every cruise line will be offering something to entice you to place a deposit on a future cruise. Finding the right cruise experience for your family is where the services of a professional cruise professional will prove invaluable. Sometimes we do come across a real value amongst all the noise, and we will share it with you. However, if you have come here looking for price and price only, you will be sorely disappointed.
With as many ships as there are going to as many destinations that they do, there is a cruise experience that is right for you. A cruise professional can help you match your expectations with to an actual cruise vacation. Let us be frank here in telling you the cruise experience that is right for you may not be the “deal”, the “special” or the least costly option. Saving a bunch of money only to get on a ship at two that is leaving at five finding you hate it, is not going be worth any savings you may have found.
When you find that you are in need of assistance in navigating the cruise line wave season, we strongly hope you will consider the services of a professional cruise consultant. We would love to be your cruise consultant of course, but we know we are not the right fit for every client either. We cannot stress enough that a cruise vacation is one of the best values around for your vacation dollar. There are so many benefits to cruising that space does not allow us to share them all. We do love to talk cruising though and will be ready for you when you make that call! Just get yourself on a cruise and soon!
