Gaudi to Century Departing Barcelona

without comments

The morning wake up call was bitterly early this morning. Laura had wanted to set it because she wanted to walk to Las Ramblas to see the open market. Her intention was to see the restaunteurs and chefs negotiate with the purveyors. We missed that part after an early breakfast.

Walking down towards the harbor we saw the various street performers setting up for the day. All of the people who would appear later posing in costume looked like you and I. I felt a bit like I seen Mickey Mouse without his head on in the back stage areas of Disney. Most would turn their back when photographed.

From there, we walked up to see one of Gaudi’s apartments, La Padrella. What an absolute delight and engineering marvel. Our next stop is Celebrity Century. I plan to report more later today and include pictures from the morning and evening later.

Chuck and Laura own The Flagg Agency in Canton, GA. They are currently touring Spain, France and Italy on a Royal Caribbean/Celebrity CruiseTour and Celebrity Century. We return on October 18th and will host our next post travel conference call on Thursday October 22nd 7pm EDT. If you want to ask questions or listen in on the call please email us (flaggmedcruise /at/ cruiseholidays.com) and we’ll send you info on how you can join the call.
