The hummingbird dogfights

without comments

readytorumbleWe now have four hummingbirds in residence. Three females and one male. They are ruby-throats.

It was an exciting dance of rivalry and fighting amongst two of the females around 1:30 this afternoon. Two would go at it never letting the other one near the feeder. When they flew out of the window view, you could catch their shadow on the patio and grass.

The third female would come from one of the trees and swoop in to get a drink only to have the other two get p*ssed and stop fighting only long enough to fight her back away.

Spending when onboard a cruise ship

without comments

For the purpose of this entry, I will be writing about the mass market cruise lines. There are several truly all inclusive luxury lines where just about everything on the cruise is included in the price of the cruise fare. If you happen to be one of those types of client, let’s talk today. ;)

What a great day!

without comments

The amount of work I have gotten done in just a few hours is pretty staggering. It just seems like the day is just working out to be an amazing day. Maybe it has something to do with Cheap Trick, or maybe the adventure with chiropractic medicine is paying off. Here’s to hoping you have a wonderful day and that you find it grand as well!

A seven night cruise versus Disney World

without comments

Many who read this know that my day job involves selling cruises. I have the distinct privilege of absolutely loving what I do. I work for myself, and have the best job in the world. I get to help families plan fantastic vacation experiences. I am also distinctly honored to get to take my wonderful little girl on our first Daddy and daughter trip. It will just be us. We have been inviting people in our school district to come along with us as we have a school break in late September. Many folks have told me it is hard to wrap their head around the cost of a cruise. With this post, I wanted to share with you a comparison between a cruise during a certain week versus the same week at Walt Disney World.
