Trip Protection – Travel Protection Insurance
Purchase your travel insurance policy to take advantage of special offers like optional pre-existing medical coverage. On some policies this is available within 14 days of initial deposit.
Pre-Post Hotel Packages
Consider spending time at your embarkation or debarkation port to extend your trip. Your Personal Cruise Experts have great advice about how to extend your trip. Getting to your port city a day in advance will ensure that you embark on your cruise rested and ready for fun.
Passport
Check and, if necessary, renew your passport six months in advance as some countries will deny entry with less than six months until passport expiration.
Getting Focused
(1 year – 9 months)
- Set up your initial appointment with Your Personal Cruise Experts to layout your short and long term travel plans
- Look at the “climate” for your destination. Check the weather but also pay attention to the political climate as well
- How is the U.S. Dollar doing where you are visiting?
- Be aware of the holidays being celebrated in the countries you are visiting
- What is the physical condition of your destination – any weather damage or physically demanding terrain?
- Check your physical condition. What are your personal requirements? (oxygen, wheelchair, motorized scooter or other special needs)
Coming up next time…you’ve made a decision to cruise, now what?
