Why Cruise?
Every day people are asking me how is business and every day I respond that it has never been better. In this very moment in time, this new normal, the passion and desire for people to explore what’s “out there” has never been stronger. For those cruising for the first or twenty-first time, the value of a cruise vacation is unprecedented.
For example, a veranda stateroom on an Alaskan cruise is the same price as you would have paid for an inside stateroom five years ago. In addition, there are still available staterooms!
I consider cruising to have five upsides:
- It’s all inclusive: Meals, Lodging, Entertainment, transportation between ports
- There are plenty of choices and options
- Clean and Luxurious – Don’t you deserve to pamper yourself
- Easy – Get on, unpack your luggage and let someone do the driving
- Memorable – Take time to Reflect, Relax and Reconnect with your family and friends
Let me address, five of the myths people have about cruising:
- I’ll be bored – Only if you want to be, there is a entire range of activities in which you can participate both on ship and on shore
- I will gain weight – Simple; if you eat more calories than you burn, you will gain weight
- Only old people cruise – They go asleep early, this affects you how exactly?
- I will get seasick – There are a variety of over the counter and prescription remedies to combat this. Also getting a lower stateroom midship will help lessen the effects of the ocean’s motion
- It’s expensive. Price out a land vacation with the cost of car rental, fuel, every meal, lodging, entertainment expenses, etc. and then compare it to the same length of time on a ship. You will find a cruise to be a much more appealing value.
