Put a dollar in the kitty
Just catching up on what has been going on the past couple of days.
I have obtained an EIN from those IRS folks. I have reserved a business name with the state of GA. I have filed articles of organization for our LLC. I have opened up a business checking account, funded said business account, and ordered new business checks for from another vendor.
I also purchased a ticket for a flight down to Fort Lauderdale in early August for training. Airtran had a decent sale and I figured I better grab it. I sure hope the don’t change the dates of training! I had a talk with both the person from whom I am purchasing as well as the franchisor itself. We are on target for a transfer within a month I hope. The idea as far as I am concerned as this is a commission based business is to make sure I can start booking trips the moment I return from training. I want as little delay in moving forward as possible.
My next step is to file for a business license in my county.
