New Frontier
It has happened in about a week. I made a post on a cruise related message board asking about becoming a home based travel agent. Before the post was removed (they have travel agent sponsors), my post was read by a franchisee here in GA. He sent me an email about who he was working for and that he had in fact made a decision to sell his franchise a week before.
I have consulted my friends, my attorney, my wife, my soul and made the decision whether he truly wanted to sell or not, that I would invest my time, energy and money into this adventure. This would allow me to work from home while having funding from my “sugar mama”.
It is scary to use up almost every dollar we have saved investing in this, but we believe it will return tenfold. You have to spend money to make money and you have to work hard to reap rewards. As someone who loves visiting Vegas, we feel this is a calculated gamble!
This blog will document our journey navigating our way into a new business, the training, the business licenses, the taxes, the frustrations, the losses and the rewards.
